2006 Luna Rose
The color is a pretty pastel pink with aromas of fresh melons and tropical fruits. The mouth is crisp with an abundance of fresh fruit flavors. The finish lingers to get you to the next sip with just a hint of sweetness making this a great summer sipper! This rosé is made from the same juice as our Malbec and Pinot Noir fermentations. The ferment was arrested at 0.30% residual sugar to enhance quaffability. This was barrel fermented and aged 8 months in neutral oak. Refreshingly crisp and fruity this is best consumed now, on a veranda, watching the summer sun set over the ocean.
