Tasting Notes
This wine is a beautiful light straw color. The nose greets you with fresh green apple, citrus and vanilla. The mouthfeel is full with minerality, Asian pear, stone fruit and firm acidity. A perfect wine to complement a summers evening. Drink now.
Vineyard Notes
Midnight Cellars was blessed with a good amount of pre-season rainfall for its estate vineyards in 2021. Much of the rain poured during a single storm in late October, sending both the vineyard and production teams in to overdrive for a short time. Although a mad dash was crucial in an effort to get the grapes off the vine, all other aspects of harvest 2021 went smoothly. Resulting in both good yields and quality, Rich Hartenberger and the Midnight Cellars’ team are confident knowing these wines are showing great depth of flavor at lower potential alcohol levels and well-balanced acidity.
